How the Project Runs

Valerie looks at how you actually plan to use the space (dining, grilling, entertaining, a quiet spot with morning coffee) and lays out a deck that fits the yard, the sightlines from inside the house, and your home's existing exterior palette. Railing style and decking material are chosen to work together rather than as separate decisions made on-site.
From there, Rick manages the build as your licensed Minnesota General Contractor (BC807593): footings sized for Minnesota's frost depth, framing that will hold up through freeze-thaw cycles, and permitting where required. When a project needs electrical for deck lighting or a gas line for a built-in grill, Rick coordinates with the trade specialists who handle that work so it's run before the decking goes down, not retrofitted afterward.
