Field View | Kitchen, Bathroom & Mudroom Remodel in Rice, MN

A full main floor transformation: kitchen, bathroom, and living spaces redesigned together.

“Valerie's vision for our kitchen, bathroom, and main floor remodel was far beyond anything we could have ever imagined on our own! She spent time learning how we use our space and suggesting options to make it more efficient. The outcome was absolutely perfect and stunningly beautiful! It has been almost one year since our project was finished and we still can't believe how amazing our new space is!”

About This Project

A full main floor remodel for Mark and Kim in Rice: a kitchen remodel, a bathroom renovation, and a coordinated main floor refresh, designed and built together by Valerie and Rick. Valerie started by learning how the family actually used each space before suggesting how it should look.

  • Full kitchen remodel: layout, cabinetry, countertops, appliances, lighting
  • Bathroom renovation: fixtures, tile, vanity, finishes
  • Main floor refresh: coordinated design across connected spaces
  • Mudroom: removed closet walls and created an L-shaped locker system with cubbies for each child
  • Design and construction handled together by Valerie and Rick

Before & After

Field View Before - Main Bathroom
Field View After - Main Bathroom: removed bulkhead, added storage and a much needed second sink for this family
Field View Before - Kitchen: awkward pantry location that limited sightlines, the decades old dark painted cabinetry had many broken drawers and doors.
Field View After - We kept costs down by using the existing locations for the appliances and plumbing. Custom cabinetry with a large countertop appliance garage keeps the clutter at bay.
Field View Before - Mudroom: Cramped, congested, an unused sink, and a huge headache for the family.
Field View After - Mudroom: Removed closet walls and created an L-shaped locker system with cubbies for each child. Baskets & closed storage to hide some of the chaos. Durable laminate was sourced for the bench area to prevent damage.
