Melrose is a Stearns County community about 20 miles west of Saint Joseph — and home to one of our most comprehensive interior design projects. Jane came to Valerie during a whole-home remodel and needed help making decisions that would hold together across rooms, hallways, and an open floor plan. The challenge in an open floor plan is that every design choice is visible from everywhere; Valerie's approach is to learn how a family uses each space and what they want each room to feel like before building a cohesive palette.
