Water & Mold Remediation
Water damage and mold remediation handled properly — from demo through the finished rebuild. Central Minnesota's licensed GC and designer team.
Water damage and mold are problems that need to be fixed right the first time. Rick handles the full remediation and rebuild process — addressing the source of moisture, removing damaged materials, treating affected areas, and rebuilding the space so it looks and performs as it should. Valerie helps with material selection for replacement finishes, so the repaired space doesn't just function — it looks like it was never damaged at all.

How Remediation and the Rebuild Work Together
Remediation and rebuilding are two different jobs that most homeowners end up hiring two separate companies to solve — a remediation crew that removes damaged material and treats the mold, and a separate contractor to put the room back together. We handle both under one contract. Rick starts by identifying the moisture source, because treating mold without fixing what caused it just means treating it again later. Once the source is addressed and damaged drywall, insulation, and flooring are removed, the space is treated and a moisture barrier is installed where needed.
From there, the project becomes a rebuild, and that's where Valerie's design work comes in. Instead of a purely functional patch job, the affected space gets new drywall texture-matched to the surrounding walls, flooring that fits the room, and finishes selected the same way they would be on any renovation. Rick manages the trade specialists — electricians, plumbers, flooring installers — needed to bring the space back fully.
Who This Is For
Homeowners dealing with a basement that's flooded, a bathroom or kitchen leak that's gone unnoticed, or a musty smell they can't place are all common starting points. It's also worth a call if you're buying or renovating an older Central Minnesota home and want a professional assessment before you commit to a larger project.
See it in a real project: our whole-home remodel & mold mitigation in St. Cloud included extensive mold mitigation throughout the home, new drywall in the primary bedroom after mitigation, and a main bathroom gutted to the studs and rebuilt — with before-and-after photos.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does remediation involve?
Removing damaged materials, treating affected surfaces, addressing the moisture source, and rebuilding the space with new drywall, flooring, and finishes.
Do you handle the full repair after remediation?
Yes. Rick handles the complete rebuild — you don't need to hire a separate contractor to put the space back together.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Saint Joseph, St. Cloud, Sartell, Sauk Rapids, Waite Park, Cold Spring, and Central Minnesota.
How do I know if I have mold or just water damage?
Discoloration, a musty smell, or a history of a leak or flooding in the area are all worth having assessed. Rick evaluates the affected area and the moisture source before any work begins.
Will the repaired space look the same as the rest of my home?
The rebuild is treated as a design decision, not just a repair. Valerie helps select replacement drywall texture, flooring, and finishes that match or intentionally update the surrounding space.
